Experience You Can Count On
As the previous owner of my own successful tax business in Hawaii (Big Island Tax Service) and with over 30 years of extensive accounting and tax experience, I understand the value and need for individualized customer service.  I’ve had success in managing financial  teams for high profile, diversified companies such as Warner Bros/Time Warner, Safeway Stores, and one of the world’s largest direct response TV companies, Guthy-Renker. Additionally, I’ve spent time working for both the Finance Division of Multnomah County Oregon and the Department of Planning and Building in San Luis Obispo County, CA.

No “Big Company” Attitude
As the owner and proprietor of Brun’s Tax Service , my goal is to emphasize a harmonious relationship with my clients by providing individualized  service while preparing your tax returns properly and accurately -- all at a more affordable price.

I know it can very stressful for you at tax time.

My unique mix of interpersonal, technical and problem solving skills taught me to address conflicts constructively and work towards positive solutions. With my in-depth tax experience, calming demeanor, exceptional knowledge and good judgment, you won’t have a thing to worry about. I guarantee you will -- receive as much or pay as little -- as legally possible.

Passions Leads to Excellence
Most people find income taxes confusing and scary. Since I love solving problems and puzzles, income taxes come naturally to me.  I simply love what I do, which sets me apart from my competition. (My prices are more affordable too!)

Service is my #1 priority and I am told that I have a very distinct brand of it. I hope that you’ll give Brun’s Tax Service an opportunity to show you what truly excellent customer service is.

My Boys
Opihi and Uli both came from clients of mine in Hawaii. The unconditional love they shower me with is amazing and society could learn a lot from my furry friends about how we should treat one another.

Opihi,  the name of a type of Hawaiian mussel, is the bruiser of our pack. He was living in the Hawaiian jungle before he came to live with us and I swear he thinks he is a Pit Bull.
Uli, which  is a common German name, but also is the name of an evil Hawaiian goddess, is the rascal of the two. He was living with papaya farmers outside Hilo, but much prefers being a lap dog.
